Ease to Pay

This is called the Ease of Application-Less than ten minutes to complete your online loan application. Receive credit approval within few days.

Co-Borrower

Add a Co-Borrower for a better rate. A co-borrower can be anyone who promises to pay if you can't, often a relative or someone close to you.

Financial Partners

GreaterHeight Academy Financial Partner disburses your tuition financing directly to GreaterHeight Academy and your cost of attendance directly to you within 21 - 28 days after program starts.

Grace Period

This is known as the Payment grace period granted for students' or trainees' advantage. Your full loan payments start two months after you graduate.

GreaterHeight Academy finance partnership is a collaboration between GreaterHeight Academy and some finance institutions. Our financing partnership creates a new approach to lending. Even in advanced countries traditional funding for traditional higher education doesn't work. Students graduate deeply in debt, never earning enough to pay back their loans.
GreaterHeight Academy finance partnership is different, the academy helps the country by providing the best sources of alternative education - education that really works. While our financing partners help, students get affordable financing for their tuition so that they can transform and improve their lives.

At this time, our GreaterHeight Academy partnership does not offer an option to finance expenses other than tuition.

Our rates are fixed, so that you don’t have to worry about your monthly payments changing. Our rates start at 8.00% and cap out at 14.95%.
Actual interest rates vary within this range based on a number of factors, including your state of residence and applicable lending laws and regulations.
You can qualify for a lower rate with us if you apply with a co-borrower (any loved one willing to pay if you can’t).

During the loan application process, we will ask you for the following information:

Valid Identification Number
Date of birth
Loan amount requested
Three personal references
Cosigner information (if applicable)

You will be provided a link to apply for a Skills Fund loan after you have been accepted to a full-time, GreaterHeight Academy program. You are also able to start your loan application prior to your acceptance by clicking on the program links below:

Most applicants complete our online application in just a few minutes. We know that your time is valuable, so we’ve kept our application as short as possible.
We will ask you to provide proof of residency for you and your co-borrower. In addition, we will ask your co-borrower for proof of income.

Once you've submitted your GreaterHeight Academy Finance-Partnership application, we will conduct what is known as a "soft" credit check to evaluate your eligibility. This soft inquiry may be recorded on your credit report, depending on the credit bureau, but it will not affect your credit score.
If you are offered a GreaterHeight Academy Finance-Partnership loan and accept that offer, we will perform what is known as a "hard" pull on your credit. This action will be recorded as an inquiry on your credit report and may impact your credit score.
You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to obtain one free credit report from each of the three U.S. national credit reporting agencies during any 12-month period. We encourage you to do so to make sure your reports are accurate.

You will be charged an origination fee of 3.0%. This amount will be added to the amount of tuition you borrow, and included in the total loan principal amount you finance. This fee helps cover the administrative fees associated with originating the loan and charged by our partner bank. See terms at bottom of page.

Absolutely! You are more than just your credit score, and we take into account the transformative power of your education.
With that said, we’d encourage you to apply with a co-borrower (any loved one willing to pay if you can’t), as this can strengthen your application and lead to a lower interest rate.

Yes, but you will need a Nigerian Citizen or permanent resident as a co-borrower.

We take data security and the privacy of your personal information very seriously. Our system is built with industry-leading security practices and regularly tested by our team and external experts. Please view our full Privacy policy

Your securely stored data is only for the purposes of verifying your identity and state of residence, underwriting your loan, and minimizing fraud. We also create reports using anonymized aggregate data to understand school outcomes and improve our underwriting. These reports don't include any personally identifiable information.

During this time, we ask you to pay just the interest on your loan. Even for a N500,000 loan, your grace period payment can be as low as N70,000 / month.

Our goal is to make sure that your monthly payments stay low and affordable.
Our standard loan tenor is 6 months, but you can pay any time before that, as there is no pre-payment penalty. You can repay your 3 year loan in 3 years, or 1 day.

Monthly payments will depend on the amount you borrow, your interest rate and the loan term.
For the time you are in school and for a job-hunt period following graduation, you will make interest-only payments. Your fixed, full monthly payments will begin thereafter.
You can also reduce your monthly payments by signing up for auto-payments!

Absolutely! You can pay back your loan, in whole or in part, at any time with no penalties.

You can pay directly to our bank account, credit card, or personal check. Most of our borrowers choose to pay directly to our acount, because they don’t have to worry about late payments. As an added bonus, we’re able to reduce your interest rate as long as you’re signed up for automatic ACH payments, which can save you so much over the life of your loan.

Regarding your tuition: You are responsible for the full amount you borrow plus accrued interest and fees. If you are owed a refund by GreaterHeight Academy, the refund transaction will be made to financing partner in the amount of the refund due (but in no event greater than what that we paid to GreaterHeight Academy on your behalf). If there is a balance on your loan after any applied refund, you will be required to immediately start making monthly payments for the balance.
Regarding your cost of attendance: You are responsible for returning these funds to financing partner. If there is a balance on your loan after any applied refund, you will be required to immediately start making monthly payments for the balance.

The maximum amount you can borrow will depend on your city and the program. You can finance your tuition (less deposit) and your Cost of Attendance. See below for a table of maximum amounts that can be borrowed.
Accordingly, you can finance up toN,250 + applicable cost of attendance max for this program. Thank you!

The deferment period is defined as the time you are attending the course, plus an additional two months after completion. Interest only payments are required during this period. After the deferment period ends, payments of principal and interest are required.

Although GreaterHeight Loan Services' interest free plans means you can enrol today without paying anything upfront, it is a loan and must be paid back. Failure to do so could affect your future credit rating.
GreaterHeight Loan Services' payment plans are interest free for 6 months, but please be aware that interest will start to accrue after the interest free period. You can see your interest free balance, how long it is estimated to take to repay the loan and change your payment schedule in your consumer center.
